We are delighted to invite you to the 18th edition of OPOMUN – The Oporto Model United Nations conference, scheduled from February 12th to 14th, 2025, in the beautiful city of Porto.

OPOMUN is proudly organised by the Oporto International School (CLIP) and spearheaded by its Form 12 students. OPOMUN reflects the dedication and hard work of the students, who bring their passion for international relations to life, making it a memorable and impactful experience for all participants. OPOMUN exemplifies CLIP’s motto (Challenged, Lifelong Learners, Internationally Minded, Principled Citizens), offering students an immersive experience in diplomacy.

Delegates will have the chance to meet people from diverse backgrounds, engage with various perspectives on current issues, and, most importantly, be different. This is our core mission at OPOMUN: Dare to make a difference! We encourage delegates to embrace this spirit, and for the past 17 years, participants have successfully strived to make a difference.

While we are in the process of selecting the venue, we assure you that the conference will be a promising event, eagerly anticipated by all of us.

Our Hospitality Team will warmly welcome all delegates and teams, assisting with flight bookings, accommodation, shuttle services, city tours, and any other needs, if requested.

We hope you will enjoy making your voices heard while discovering the charming city of Porto.

Please enrol by October 31st, 2024. The non-refundable registration fee is €150 which will later be deducted from your final payment. The conference fee is €100 per student and €50 per chaperone. Each school may enroll up to 15 delegates (for additional positions, please contact us).
